My second grader is reading this now. I have a special needs 10 year old, and this book brings tears to my eyes. It gives me hope that a teacher could Change how a child or classroom feels about themselves. I know there are many, many Mrs. Petersons out there. Thank you for dedicating your life to teach those with special needs, it takes special person!

The illustrations look quite fascinating. Tight Times sounds interesting- if not particularly story-wise then subject-wise.
