[BHE 84] Library Loot for our Theme

BHE

Myra here.

It’s Sunday! Time for us to share the books that have gently called out to us from old and new bookstores, gently coaxed their way out of the library bookshelves and found our all-too-willing hands.

Since I’ve done quite a bit of book-shopping quite recently with the book fairs here in Singapore, this time I am sharing my library loot that fits our current theme: Goddesses, Faeries, Spirit-Stars and Celestial Beings.

Random Book Find and Book Buy

I chanced upon this book during the recent Tampines Learning Festival where my eleven year old girl had a theater performance. At a discounted rate of eight dollars, of course I had to purchase it: The Compleat Ankh-Morpork City Guide by Terry Pratchett.

How about you, dear friends, what books found their way into your hands recently?

  1. You find the most amazing books, Myra! Was it you or Fats who happened to mention THE WHITE MARBLE, btw? I don’t think so, but I’m really trying to remember ’cause I loved the book! :D

  2. So many fairy books-wow! And the Gathering Sparks and Catching the Moon looks terrific too. Thanks Myra!

  3. Cool! I need to read some of these books! :)
