It is Sunday once more. Time for us to share the books that have found their way into our shelves: either left in our doorsteps, flew to our hands from faraway lands, or just landed neatly into our laps. Here are a few that I bought from Bras Basah these past few weeks.
A Smorgasbord of Adult Novels
I already have one novel by Naguib Mahfouz. So I thought I might as well add to my collection with these titles: Palace Walk and Sugar Street.
Since I could not resist any Isabel Allende novel, I had to grab this one too: Zorro, the Novel. I was also excited to find Paulo Coelho’s The Pilgrimage.
Glad to have also found a Modern Classic novel with William S. Burrough’s Queer.
I was also intrigued by this title as it reminded me of Jules 7imp site: Six Impossible Things Before Breakfast: The Evolutionary Origins of Belief by Lewis Wolpert. Looks like an interesting nonfiction read.
