Helsinki, Finland
I was just in Finland a week ago to present two papers at a Music Conference in Sibelius Academy. I was glad to have discovered this lovely Chinese restaurant which gave me my first decent meal after I have just arrived in the city. The price is not too bad and it was comforting to see something familiar in a foreign land.
Singapore Botanical Garden
I would love to visit this place again. Sometimes I just get too wrapped up in routine that I fail to visit lovely places such as this one. We usually wait until we have house guests, then we have an excuse to go around the city and explore some more. We must do this more regularly.
San Francisco, USA
San Francisco remains one of my favorite cities in the US. I had a fun time visiting Haight and Castro streets while we were there. I love the reddish hue in this photo juxtaposed with the Villains sign in this establishment. I just feel that there is a sinister vibe to this picture.
I used this photo for the weekly photo challenge several weeks back when the theme was Unfocused. I felt that it deserves to be shared again as it is red, red, red. One of the roadway tunnels in San Francisco.
Oh boy! Love color themes! I remember doing a #4ofred theme for an Instagram challenge. Fun times! =)
