From traversing the unmapped territories of children’s content in Asia, we are led back to the oral tradition of storytelling as we brace ourselves for yet another vibrant festival here in the region. People from the National Book Development Council, Book Council, and The Arts House present the Singapore International Storytelling Festival to be held from 1-5 September 2012.
Apart from the live performances from world-class talents, there is also an International Storytellers Showcase and the Asian Congress of Storytellers where delegates would get a chance to familiarize themselves with the new trends and practices in the art of storytelling.
