Book Exchange 2012: Give a Book, Get a Book

One of the reasons why I so love the libraries here in Singapore is because of brilliant initiatives such as this one:

Easy-peasy Rules:

  1. Bring your books to any public library from 13-27 April, 11.00 am to 8.00 pm. On 28 April, books are only accepted at the National Library Building.
  2. Collect a coupon indicating a one-for-one exchange for the books accepted.
  3. Bring your coupons to The Plaza, National Library Building, on 28 April to redeem other books.

If you are wondering what kind of used books will be accepted for exchange, see the poster below:

We’ve exchanged around 15 of our used books now for coupons. Looking forward to having new ones this Saturday (at no additional cost to me). If you’re in Singapore, you can’t possibly miss this one. See you there!
