I am afraid that I truly am weak when it comes to books. While I can resist most anything (shoes, bags, clothes, even food on occasion – I can live on crackers and water), books are truly my weakness. While I vowed that I would only get the ones I shared with you here, moving around town during my last full day in Prague has weakened my resolve. The bookstores are truly something:

The books trapped in the Kafka bookstore yearning to be free. And there is the famous Little Mole once again!

There ya go. Up close and personal. it's called the Knihkupectvi Book shop. The coffee's pretty cheap too. In Starbucks you pay twice the amount you find here. Unbelievable.

Another bookshop, yes! How can you resist! With my travel companion, my Linguist friend who used to be the Chairperson of the Department of Linguistics in the University of the Philippines. A good (and long-suffering) friend for the past 13 years or so. We will feature him soon in our Academic Nook. =)
And here are the books I was not able to resist. Peter Sis is truly a rare find. I am sure I’d have difficulties finding his books in Singapore or in the States so, might as well. C’est la vie.
